How to Search the MRSC Website

MRSC's website contains thousands of webpages, blog posts, publications, sample documents, and other resources for local governments.

Our powerful search engine can help you quickly sort through all this information to find exactly what you're looking for. Below is a short 1‑minute tutorial video demonstrating how to use the search engine.

To search the MRSC website: Place your cursor in the search box at the top of any page, type in your search term, and hit "enter" or click "go." You'll see a list of all the matching pages or documents on our website. On the right, you'll also see the search results organized by category, along with the number of results in each category.

To narrow your search results: Select one or more of the document types. For definitions, simply hover your cursor over the question mark icon next to each category. You can also clear your selections at any time.

If you select sample documents: You can narrow your search even further by choosing the specific type of document.

If you can't find what you're looking for or if you want further guidance: Staff and officials from eligible government agencies in Washington State can use our free Ask MRSC inquiry service to be connected with one of our attorneys, policy consultants, or finance experts.
