Webinar Overview

This webinar will review the practices followed for acquiring materials, supplies and equipment, and use of a vendor roster. It will also cover guidelines for securing general services as well as Architect and Engineering (A&E) services.

Educational Objectives

The information presented will identify agency thresholds, process guidelines, restrictions, or limits for certain acquisitions, as well as where flexibility may be available.

Who Should Attend?

  • Contracting and purchasing staff, also other personnel who need to be aware of the activities required in making purchases; and those within an agency who are involved in obtaining a variety of services.


  • Judy Isaac, CPSM, Procurement and Public Works Contracting Consultant, MRSC. Judy joined MRSC in 2017, and prior to that, she worked as the Purchasing Manager for KCDA Purchasing Cooperative. Judy has also held purchasing positions with the cities of Redmond and Shoreline. Working in areas of procurement and project management has provided Judy significant experience in both the public and private sectors.
