This page lists and maps all transportation benefit districts (TBDs) in Washington State that MRSC is currently aware of, along with their establishment dates, funding mechanisms, and whether their powers have been assumed.

List of City/Town TBDs

As of February 2017, MRSC is aware of almost 100 cities and towns that have formed TBDs, of which about half have assumed the TBD's rights, powers, functions, and obligations under chapter 36.74 RCW. The funding source indicates existing or approved revenue streams.

List of County TBDs

Several counties have explored the idea of a transportation benefit district, but MRSC is only aware of five that have established a TBD. Of those, one relies on the border area fuel tax and the rest are unfunded.
