Workshop: Purchasing & Contracting Essentials – Kennewick #1

Online registration closes Friday, August 10 at 5 pm. If there are any open spots, onsite registration (with payment by cash or check) may be available. MRSC reserves the right to cancel any scheduled training that does not meet minimum class registration. If MRSC cancels a class, we will notify all attendees and refund the registration fees.

Workshop Overview

This full-day, in-person training will cover purchasing in the morning and public works contracting in the afternoon. The training will review statutory requirements and procedures for various local government agencies, including recent legislative changes.

Educational Objectives

Attendees will learn about their agency’s statutory requirements, how to better align those requirements with their agency’s specific needs, and how they may be impacted by recent legislative changes.

Who Should Attend?

  • Local government purchasing and contracting staff, employees from other departments who want better insight into the procurement and contracting process.
