Utility Liens and Shut-offs

  1. A water-sewer district owns and operates the utility. (change)
  2. The utility chooses to pursue a shut-off. (change)

Districts may not shut off or disconnect any part of a delinquent customer's water or sewer service until the account has been delinquent for 30 days. RCW 57.08.081(5)
